1. Today Advisor is a connector platform
Today Advisor is a B2B marketplace that helps buyers discover and connect with verified sellers. We are not a logistics company, freight forwarder, customs broker, warehouse operator, or courier service. We do not take title to goods sold between buyers and sellers on the Platform, and we do not physically handle, store, or move those goods.
2. Shipping terms are between buyer and seller
All shipping and delivery matters arising from a buyer-seller transaction are the direct responsibility of the buyer and seller, including:
- Incoterms and title transfer (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, and similar);
- Packaging, marking, palletisation, and container loading;
- Choice of courier, freight forwarder, shipping line, or airline;
- Freight cost, insurance, demurrage, and detention charges;
- Export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, etc.);
- Customs clearance and duties at destination;
- Delivery timelines, split shipments, and partial deliveries;
- Handling of damaged, short, or wrong-item shipments;
- Returns, replacements, and re-exports.
Buyers and sellers should agree these matters in writing (a purchase order, proforma invoice, sales contract, or equivalent) before payments are made.
3. Logistics services booked through the Platform
If Today Advisor introduces a specific logistics or documentation service to you, the terms of that particular service — including scope, timelines, and liability — will be set out in the service order or engagement letter at the time of booking. In such cases, Today Advisor's role is that of a facilitator or, where explicitly stated, a service provider under the specific service scope. We do not, by facilitating an introduction, become a party to the underlying buyer-seller sale of goods.
4. No warranty on delivery
Today Advisor does not warrant or guarantee that any goods listed on the Platform will be shipped on time, in full, undamaged, or at all. Any such guarantees, if any, come solely from the seller you transact with, subject to their own terms.
5. Disputes about shipping
Shipping disputes should be raised first with the counterparty. We may, at our discretion and as a goodwill effort, help facilitate communication when a dispute arises, but this does not create any obligation, indemnity, or liability on our part. Please review our Terms of Service, particularly the sections on Buyer-Seller Transactions and Limitation of Liability.
6. Contact
General questions may be sent to /support. For confirmed fraud or misrepresentation by a seller regarding shipping, please write to trust@todayadviser.com.
This document is a general policy provided by Today Advisor for our B2B marketplace. It is a strong drafting starting point and is not a substitute for legal advice. We recommend a review by a lawyer familiar with Indian e-commerce and marketplace regulations before accepting real payments in your jurisdiction.
