1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. We also use related technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and measure how the Platform is used. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.
2. Categories of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
Required for the Platform to function. These cannot be turned off without breaking core features. Examples include:
- Authentication tokens that keep you signed in to your buyer, seller, employee, sales, or admin dashboard;
- CSRF and security-hardening tokens;
- Session identifiers used during multi-step forms such as seller signup and post-requirement;
- Load-balancer and platform-hosting cookies.
2.2 Preference
Used to remember settings that improve your experience, such as your preferred country/language, the last dashboard tab you visited, dismissed banners, and your recently viewed suppliers.
2.3 Analytics
Used to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited, which searches are performed, which categories generate the most inquiries, and where users encounter errors. This data helps us improve category taxonomy, matching, and page speed. We use privacy-respecting analytics where possible; identifiers are used at an aggregated level.
2.4 Third-party service cookies
Certain features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies, subject to their own privacy policies:
- Google Maps / Places / Geocoding for address autocomplete and map embeds on company profiles;
- Supabase (our backend platform) for authentication and secure API calls;
- Payment processors for subscription and service checkout flows;
- Transactional email providers that may include tracking pixels in email notifications.
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising retargeting.
3. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core features such as sign-in from working. Instructions for common browsers:
You can also opt out of many analytics providers through their industry opt-out mechanisms.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our features and third-party services evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
